Another great little scale in the line up of Salter’s Aquatronics scales is the Salter 11 Pound Aquatronic Scale. Like most of Salter’s Aquatronics scales, this scale means no more measuring cups. Yay! Now you can measure your ingredients in whatever container you desire, making prep time and cooking take less time than every before.
With the easy add and weigh feature, you can measure all of your ingredients in the same container. Simply place your container on top of the scale, zero it out, then place in your first ingredient for accurate measurement. Once you’ve weighed your first ingredient, zero out the scale again with the container still sitting on top of it, then place your next ingredient in the bowl. You can repeat this process as many times as necessary and continue to get accurate measurements for each ingredient while keeping them all in the same container.
Since this is an Aquatronics scale, that means you can measure your solids and liquids in the same container as well, further reducing the prep time of normally difficult and time consuming dishes. You can easily convert solid measurements to liquid measurements with the touch of a button.

I purchased this scale as a replacement for another Salter aquatronic scale I owned for almost 9 years. So far, no complaints. My previous scale had a slightly larger surface area to weigh your items on but this seems to be doing the job. That is the only reason I would rate this 4 stars vs. 5 stars. I got this scale because I can remove the stainless steel cover to wash when I put items directly on the scale surface vs. putting in a bowl/plate to weigh. All the buttons are flush with the unit so cleaning up is super easy. I would recommend buying this scale, especially if you desire the feature of weighing items in fluid ounces.
